Bio
Ethan Everette, local to North Carolina, was born and raised with a passion for storytelling. As the eldest of five half-siblings, Ethan's enthusiasm for entertainment emerged early on. He would often orchestrate impromptu plays in the backyard, casting his siblings as actors, to the delight of nearby neighbors who became regular attendees of Ethan's productions.
Recently, Ethan achieved a significant milestone with the completion of his debut professional short film, "Burrow Woods." In his down time, he finds fulfillment in crafting scripts, honing his skills in narrative creation.
Freshly graduated from film school, Ethan harbors ambitious aspirations within the industry. His goal is to contribute as a creative member of a filmmaking team dedicated to the art of cinematic storytelling, aiming to make a lasting impact in the world of film.

In the chilling short film "Burrow Woods," up-and-coming director Ethan Everette makes his directorial debut, exploring the murky depths of horror through a mix of atmospheric tension and experimental practical effects. The film follows Penny Albright, Lorelle Phillips, a teen girl haunted by a nightmare of a ferocious werewolf that stalks the eerie campgrounds of Burrow Woods.

Ethan played a crucial role in the short film "Drifting," directed by Isabella Foley, where he served as the 1st Assistant Director.

"I had just finished filming my short film, 'Burrow Woods,' when a friend asked me last minute to “day play” for another student's thesis film. I was thrilled, still buzzing with adrenaline from my own project.”

"My first time officially working alongside a director as an assistant was in the student thesis film, 'The Waiter,' directed by Anna Schaffer. I learned so much, and it really tested my character. It made me learn about leadership before I directed my own thesis film."
